Rockwood tent trailer (model 2318G) has no power

Rockwood tent trailer (model 2318G) has no electrical power. Fuzes are good. 'Flicked' breakers to no avail. Are there other fuzes/breakers?

When plugged into 110V, the converter works (all fuzes are good). When plugged into the van, all is well. When running only on battery power, nothing. I have reset the breakers to no avail. I'm thinking that the problem is a ground???

Are you talking no power at hydro receptacles, or no 12 volt lights etc?

I have the same trailer and had the same problem. The trailer has a button that shuts off all power when the swing down stove and sink are folded down (this prevents anything from turning on when the trailer is folded down). The button is red and one of the wires came off the terminal.Once I hooked the wire back up everything worked fine. The button and is visible as soon as you fold down the sink and stove. The funny thing is that there is no mention of it in any of the literature that comes with the trailer

Rockwood trailer tent 1640LTD. Why does our battery has to be charged very often.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to RVs.

It shouldn't do unless the controlling software is faulty. There should be a diode that only lets electricity flow from the solar panel to the battery in sunlight, but shouldn't allow electricity to flow back to the solar panel at night.

Batteries should last 4 to 6 years if they are looked after, and during the winter months, they should be on a battery minder to keep them trickle charged.

Any electrical items in the trailer tent like fridges, microwaves, televisions, heaters, AC etc, may be drawing some power when not in use either by design (standby) or by error (parasitic draw).

Forest River manual for your travel trailer says they have hydraulic and electric slides. Look online for the manual for your slide manufacturer for troubleshooting steps.

Tent trailer battery wont turn on lights

Should be a fuse or breaker somewhere between the lights and the power source.

Interior lights, appliances work fine when plugged

Check for a faulty inline fuse or circuit breaker at harness attached at front of trailer. Follow positive wire back to trailer.
