SOURCE: need unlock code.

I found this region hack here Sony DVP-NS575P region code , check it out:

"Warning
The following guide describes how I managed to make my Sony DVP-NS705V DVD player multi-region.

There are no guarantees that you will be able to do the same. Be aware that you will probably void any warranty you have and possibly even break the player.

Put shortly, you proceed at your own risk.

Introduction
First of all, the Sony DVP-NS705V can be made multi-region simply by applying appropriate service codes, you do not need to install a so called "mod chip".

This supposedly applies to the entire NS-series of Sony DVD players. There are some encouraging reports out there supporting this, but nothing has been verified by me. Again, if you choose to apply this guide to any DVD player, you do so at your own risk.

If you do find that this procedure works on another model, please drop me a line at [email protected] and let me know. Include the exact model number and original region of your player.

Update: Some users have reported success on the following players:

DVP-F21 (special thanks to Garry Self for this one)

Please note that not all players behave exactly like the NS705. For example, some players do not display "success" when hacked.

Thanks to all who have contributed.

The infrared service codes required to make the update are available on the Internet. Unfortunately, not many people have an appropriate device to enter the codes into. You basically need a programmable remote (Philips Pronto, One-For-All) or a PDA (Palm, iPAQ) with suitable software.

This guide shows you how to make the update with a regular PC equipped with an IRDA port.

The procedure

1. Download the winsamp -package from Blank Frank's site.

http://www.veg.nildram.co.uk/remote.htm

This innovative piece of software allows you to send standard home electronics IR signals using a PC IRDA port.

2. Extract the package onto a bootable DOS floppy disk.

3. Download this IR code

http://www.selen.org/files/REMOTE.TXT

file and place it in the same directory as the package above.

This file holds the five necessary IR codes converted to the format used by Blank Frank's winsamp.exe. Please do not bother Frank with questions concerning this particular procedure.

4. Boot up your PC from the floppy disk and run winsamp.exe.

If your IRDA port doesn't appear as COM2 you may override this by using an appropriate command line switch. For example, use COM1 by running 'winsamp C1'.

5. Press the 'r' key to load up the codes into winsamp.

6. Make sure your DVD player is in standby mode and your IRDA port is within range.

7. Run the IR codes from 1 to 5 by pressing Enter on each corresponding button.

8. Your DVD player should start up and display the text "SUCCESS".

9. Repeat step 7. Your player should return to standby mode.

10.Your player is now multi-region."

Hello sir I bought pioneer hdz606bd in Singapore I using in India but my player have problem I attach photos please reply tks

I think your DVD player has the wrong regio code. Be aware you only can change that once. So not switch the regio code from 1 to 5 and a few weeks later from 5 to 1 or 4.
Check the manual, how you can change the regio code. If you put in a DVD from Singapore, it should play the disk. The same if you burn your own DVD regio free. It should play the disk too.

Works with most Sony Players

Step 1
Unplug the power cord of the Sony Blu-ray player. Plug the power cord back in. Turn on the Sony Blu-ray player. Turn on the TV to which the Sony Blu-ray player is attached. Wait for the "No Disc" text to appear on the front of the Sony's LCD display and on the TV's screen.

Step 2
Press the "Eject" button on the remote control. Wait for the disc tray to eject itself from the front of the Sony Blu-ray player.

Step 3
Press the "Disc Info" button on the remote control. Look for a number to appear on one of the upper corners of the screen of the TV.

Step 4
Press the "Disc Info" button repeatedly until the number "9" appears on the TV's screen. This number indicates that the Sony Blu-ray player is now set for "multi-region" and will play any Blu-ray disc that is commercially made.

Step 5
Turn the Sony Blu-ray player off using the remote control. Turn the Sony Blu-ray player back on using the remote control. Press the "Eject" button on the remote control to close the disc tray. Turn the Sony Blu-ray player off using the remote control.

I want to play the dvds of animation like kungfu panda & madgascar etc.but the message that my ps3 displays is that region code does not match.I bought the ps3 and dvds in Delhi India & my location...

The DVD movie you are trying to play does not match the region code of your player which is your PS3. These movie discs might not be under the same region and you have to comly to the DVD region code settings to make it work. If it says region code does not match, it means that it is unsupported and not compatible with your PS3.

Our Sony DVD player will not playimported DVDs from the UStates

1) those DVDs are coded in Region 1(Canada, United States; U.S. territories; Bermuda)
you will have to change the region code on the dvd-rom to region 1

2) if you bought the stand alone DVD player in the U.S. it will play region 1 dvds and nothing else(some dvd players will play region code 1-6)

3) to change the code in windows vista you'll have to go under the drive property's in the device manager go to the dvd region tab and set it to what ever the number on the back of the dvd is WARNING you only get 4 changes before the drive locks you out permanently then your stuck with what ever number you put in on the 4th try you've been warned

windows xp/2000/98/me
you'll have to change the region code from your software player again your limited on how many times you can change the region code before you have to reinstall the dvd player software
