SOURCE: furnace not blowing air
this may sound not useful but the first thing to try is turn off the breaker or fuse to the feed for the furnace for 1 minute and turn back on and listen and note exactly what it does from there and will have better idea how to help and this might fix the problem try and let me know th results
SOURCE: High limit switch open on armstrong furnace
If you know where the high limit switch is you can always cut the two wires and wire them together causing the limit to close. But what you have to watch out for is why the high limit is not closing. That means in your return air either you have a dirty return air duct, dirty filter, or you don't have all your registors open to allow the heat to escape the heat exchanger. Just watch over riding the system. The high limit switch should either be on or behind the blower, in the middle of the system right under the heat exchanger. any other questions about hvac just ask.

SOURCE: Furnace blows cold air, ignitor won't glow.
ok this is going to sound funny but it seems as though the polarity is reversed going into your furnance. to correct this proiblem you first need to unplug the unit and where the cord goes into the furnance at that connection disconnect the two wires. Once theses are disconnected switch the wires .All you are doing is reversing the way the electricity flows into the circut board. I would wager that is the problem
SOURCE: Carrier Gas Furnace runs fine randomly stops blowing LEDs flash
That blinking light may be the diagnostic light. Count the blinks next time it fails. Carrier units will have two different blinks depicting the error code such as one blink followed by a pause than 3 blinks giving you an error code of 13. Then look at the wiring diagram, it will have an error code chart telling you where to start with your diagnosis. You already know that if you remove the cover it erases the error code, so look thru the small window first.
SOURCE: it keeps turning off but the green led light goes
Please provide a manufacturer name and model number.
Need model and make of unit? Take off the bottom door of your furnace and there will be a label on the inside or the outside of the door it will tell you what the flashed mean.
