When printing envelopes ensure you set paper/media type to Envelopes, and feed via tray 1/bypass . Paper type setting sets correct fuser temp, the fuser is the hot bit at the rear that "melts" the image into the paper.
If paper type is set correctly then I recommend you change the fuser unit.
Ensure envelopes are standard type. ie you are printing on paper envelopes
When printing envelopes, you have to set tray1(the bypass tray) to handle the envelopes in the menu.
Configure trays (HP LaserJet P2050 Series Printers only)
1. Press OK.
2. Press the down arrow to select System setup, and then press OK.
3. Press the down arrow to select Paper setup, and then press OK.
4. Press the down arrow to select the desired tray, and then press OK.
5. Press the down arrow to select Paper type or Paper size, and then press OK.
6. Press the down arrow to select the size or type.
7. Press OK to save the settings.
Its not a envelop printer, its just option only, mechanism built for between ranges of GSM, we cannot put bunch of covers in feeder for print, our monitoring is must.
It sounds like you changed the weight (thickness) of the envelopes being used or they aren't being fed in right. Make sure the paper guides are snug against the envelopes. Try rotating them 180 degrees (in which case, if that works, you may have to print your labels upside-down).
If this doesn't help, then my best suggestion is to get Avery address labels and print on those and stick them to the envelopes.
The only other thing I can think of off the top of my head that would cause that is a sudden change in humidity, but that's not something we can control!

On alot of printers when you print envelopes theres a back door on the printer to prevent the curling or wrinkles. Just open the back door when doing envelopes.
Best of luck and have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!
Are there settings on the control panel of your printer? Is the tray 1 the MP tray? (The one that flips towards you) If so, can you change the settings of the Tray 1 to Envelope on the control panel?
