I cant get my sims 3 or sims 4 to work on my laptop what do i need to do?

you have to have up to date flash player and adobe shockplayer. sims software will crash if the proper software is not installed...my wifes laptop is full of sim's games i dont play them my self but she like to and i'm always updating it for her sim games.

The best part for you is it has a turbo mode which will automatically temporarily shut off unnecessary programs while you play Sims 3 (Sims 3 uses up a ton of Virtual Memory while you are playing it). Next purchase a Laptop cooling tray, its a light weight metal tray with cooling fans on it that will keep your laptop cool while using it, they come in a variety of sizes too, I purchased a Cooler-master one off the internet for my brother-in-law and he says it is the best thing he has purchased for his laptop. He says it stays supper cold while he plays Battlefield 3...Hope this will help you..

I had a similar problem but seems that Sims 3 needs a good graphics card. I was using my onboard graphics. I put in a graphics card that I had, 1 gig Geforce 9800. Now sims 3 is working great. I hope this helps

If your laptop will play the demo, it should play the full game. Just be aware that patches and updates to the game can affect performance so if your running the game on the lowest settings, it isn't advisable to get it.
Looking at the graphics device in the NV55C it should run the game with no problems though.

Hi. If you are experiencing slow game play for sims 3 you can go to game options and try lowering your resolution. Check if it will improve your game play. I just had the same problem and it helped in my game hope this will work to you as well.

Get a video card as was recommended by EA. You have a PCI-E slot (also known as PCI-X or PCI-Express). You should be able to find one in the $80 range at any Best Buy or Fry's that will work.

re- install sims 3 from your sims disc 1, that will replace the faulty file, run a antivirus scan to be certain a virus hasn't infected that file

try to check computer memory RAM
