Nikon D60 memory card problem. When i turn my

Nikon D60 memory card problem. When i turn my camera on i get the error message: Memory card is locked. Slide to "write'' position. However, my memory card is NOT locked, it works in other cameras, and when i put a different memory card in my D60 it says the same thing. The camera is fairly new, and i really need it next week. How do i fix this?

Check your sd card, there's a tiny bar on the side that you can "slide" to unlock...

Problem nikon d40 memory card is locked. slide lock to write position

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Memory card

The D60 was released BEFORE HD SD cards came out. The 4 gig card MAY BE TOO BIG. HSD I think is the Nomenclature you may need a normal SD card. I think 2GB is as big as you can go but don't quote me.

Error message nikon d60 release not working

I assume that the full message is "Shutter release is disabled." The causes can be as follows:
1. The memory card is not fully inserted, or locked in place; or the write protect tab on the left edge of the memory card is in the protected position. A full memory card could also cause this problem.
2. You are using an automatic lens equipped with a focusing ring and you have failed to lock the aperture at the highest f-number by sliding the locking tab on the lens.
3. You are using a non-CPU lens, in which case you must rotate the mode dial to "M" and manually set your ISO, shutter speed and f-stop.
4. Your flash is not fully charged.

Nikon d60

Sorry to say but this camera does not come with a internal memory with it, so you really need to get a memory card for it for you to use it.
Here;s the link for the complete specs of this camera.

Can not get pictures off of internal Nikon D60

You don't. Without a memory card in the camera, there are no pictures to get out. It's really hard to be nice when they ask these kinds of questions.

Memory access lamp flashes

WHEN POUTTING INN A MEMORY CARD ON NIKON DSLR CAMERAS THE GREEN LIGHT WILL BLINK ONE TIME .
IF IT CONTINUES TO BLINK THE CARD COULD BE BAD AND TRY TO FORMAT IT .
ALSO YOU COULD HAVE A BAD COMPRESSION BOARD.
