Proxy port is 9201
Proxy IP is 216.155.165.50
Internet mode is WAP
Profile name is T-Mo MMS
MMSC is http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

The_Wise23 - delete and try reinstalling your lg usb modem if that does not work call your provider and see if they can assist you more.
chinesebox - the best thing to do is uninstall all lg software and then reinstall it.
for all other users un-install then reinstall

Make sure that you have the correct settings for GPRS or 3G, call your service provider and they will send you the correct settings for free.

There are 2 ways to approach your problem.
This issue may occur if you configure your Internet connection to use a proxy server that requires authentication. In some situations, the Activation Wizard can not connect through the proxy server to an internal Microsoft server and show error message.
Alternatively, this issue may occur if your firewall software is blocking the attempt to connect to the server through your Internet connection.
To resolve this issue configure the firewall software to let the Activation Wizard connect to the Microsoft server or restart the computer in Windows Safe Mode With Networking, and then try to activate the software.
(How to get there? Open settings - Network - APN/Access point - New apn).
On internet settings try this first: Usually works but not always. Under are SMARTs own settings.
