Hello everyone! Please help me to understand the incomprehensible phenomenon of the program. Something wrong with the memory of a computer, for the first time i have faced such issue. The error message says Insufficient Memory was Available to Complete the Operation. Is there a way to solve the problem or to set the memory usage in Illustrator CS4?
It is obvious your scratch disk does not have enough space. I would say that truth about the memory problem is the Very Critical Memory Bug that comes with CS4. You can try to disable all the apps that are running at the same time, but the problem can be still here. Installing of a current AI version might help. Also try to save a TIF of the image in Photoshop, it could be a quick fix to the problem. Or reduced the pixels number.

Oh, also i've remembered one method: Unlock all the layers and 'select all' and 'copy'. Than create a new doc and paste your image in there. Save the document with a new name.
