I have a Brinks Home security safe model 5059. I have lost my only key. is it possible to open without a key? I not how do i get a new key made for this model?

On the lock might be a number, take that to a Brinks dealer who should be able to cut a key! You should have to provide ID for security purposes!

To order replacement keys, for small chests and files, you will need to know the key numbers which can be found right around where the key goes in. I can't find a telephone number for micromark to order a replacement safe key. Anyone have a valid phone number for them?

If the battery power has fallen too low the safe will revert to it's factory setting 159A or 159B if you have enough power to make the unit work one of these will open it.

The only way to get a replacement key is to call a locksmith out and have a key made.

Hello Kay. Without the key your only choice is to take the safe to a local lock smith shop. Be prepared to have two forms of ID with you including one photo ID. J.

SD102 missing the key

Hi.
Yes, you need the key to open it.
Your code is 4 numbers (one or two digits each).
First turn the knob several times counter clockwise To "reset for starting)
Turn the knob clockwise. Stop when you hit the first number the fourth time. Then counterclockwise, and stop when hitting the second number the third time. Counterclockwise again until you hit the third number the second time. Counterclockwise, and stop when hitting the fourth number the first time.
Now you need the key. The safe opens when you turn the key clockwise. I don't know where to order a new key, but I suppose the manufacturer can help. Your key number should be engraved ON the lock. Mine has four digits lock/ key- number.
I have not been able to find the manufacturers web page...
I wish you luck!
