What should I do if im locked out of my phone and I forgot my pattern

I have a question. I forgot my screen lock pattern so im tryinh to factory reset it. But this is what the phone does..u can see below in the picture here, I took of it

do a factory reset by turning your phone off then you hold the power button and volume down button together until you see a little android that means it factory reset

If you let the phone lock and you enter the pattern wrong a few times its going to ask you to type in your password to your gmail account. After you enter the right password it will ask you to create a new pattern.
