Trying to download apps , told that internel storage full, it isnt . is there a fix?

If your Samsung J7 is full under the "Other" category in storage, you can try clearing the cache and data of the apps that are taking up the most space. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Select the app > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data. You can also try uninstalling any unused apps to free up space.

A clue to make, model and size of storage card may help you get an answer.

Some tablets have limited space for apps. If you have internal memory of 8 gigabytes, for example, perhaps only about one gigabyte of that is partitioned for app storage on some devices. When that app storage becomes full, nothing more will be able to download and install.

You can go into Settings> Storage and examine the top bar graph to see if the app storage partition is full. If it's full you will be able to free up some space by uninstalling some apps you don't want or never use.

Your memory for apps might be full. Go to Settings > Storage and look at the top bar graph. If it says it's full then there's your problem. You'll have to delete some apps or clear data and cache on some in order to get some room freed up. You might be able to move some of the apps to an external SD card if you've put one in the slot if you have a slot.

Or, if the top bar graph says 00 bytes of memory then your
app partition got trashed somehow - probably a faulty internal SD memory. I have this problem on a Nobis NB09 and so have a lot of other folks when I Googled Nobis stuck on Go and NobisNB09 won't boot up etc. Nobis fixed it once but it lasted only two or three weeks and now they won't issue me another RMA number. I would advise everybody to not purchase Nobis - now run by Bidwell products as they don't seem willing to honor warranty.

Where are you trying to save to? You can save to either internal storage or an sd card. If you don't have an sd card perhaps that might be causing the error.

Hi to get this sorted delete cache from application and if possible move apps to internal storage or sd card.

All apps you download are stored in phone memory, you can check the memory status in settings. I think this will be almost full in your case, you just need to free your phone memory.

I suggest you move apps to SD card, or rather delete unwanted apps.

It is probably because the internal storage is full. That could be from any apps you download and install, as well as any information those apps save in the cache. Photos should not affect the internal storage as they are stored on the flash card.

Try uninstalling some of the apps you don't use. You can do this by going to the Market, hitting the menu button, selecting Downloads, selecting any apps you have installed, and then selecting Uninstall.

You can also go into Settings>Applications>Manage applications. Select apps like Internet and then Clear cache or Clear data. That should free up some more room. DO NOT clear the cache cache or data for Sense. If you do, you will have to redo all of your icons and widgets all over again.
