I have a 22 cu ft. GE Profile french door, bottom freezer that is about 1 1/2 yrs old (model no. PFS22SBSBSS). It does not stay cool and I can hear frequent start/stops "clicking". The freezer seems to stay around 0 degrees, but the fridge is warm. The display often shows 0, and 60 (fridge). Sometimes when I open the doors the display stays blank, but the fridge seems to be running and is cooling down.
I have tried unplugging it for 1 day and it seems to start back up and cools down, but not for long. Then it goes into the frequent clicking mode.
Any suggestions/things I can check?

I am experiencing the same problem with my GE fridge. We have already tried the Turbo Cool, but nothing seems to help.
Thanks
Carol
When it's running is the fan in the freezer on? It may be a quite fan so feel for air from top back in freezer. If not it may need a new evaporator fan motor.
Also , is there frost on back wall of freezer? If so it's not defrosting.
Is there frost near the freezer door area? If so the door isn't always getting closed properly. This causes a frost and ice build up in the passageway to the refrigerator section from the freezer. The blocks the cold air from getting to freezer.

I have the exact same problem as of yesterday with the same refrigerator? My freezer stays cold but my refrigerator is at 60 degrees. My display also is blank when I open the door sometimes. Does anyone have the solution a part from what's already been posted? Can I repair it myself without any special know-how?
Thank you
