What kind of phone is the old phone? There is an app called Motorola Migrate that helps you transition easily from many old phones to your new Moto G. Reply back with the old Brand and Model of your previous phone and we'll try to help.

Put SD card in card reader and plug into PC. Or Bluetooth from old phone to new phone or use Moto Migrate app.

Hi,
Copy all contact in your old phone to SIM. Then use your SIM in N8. If you have huge contact data in old phone, it may take several time to move them completely to your N8. Move the SIM contact data to your new phone and repeat the steps until finish.
