On group 3 the first two small measure buttons don't even click when pressed. all the others click when pressed and dispense water at the group heads correctly. As I said I don't even get the clicking noise when ether of these two are preseed.

I had this happen about 6 months ago. It was the heating element. I had to have it replace - about $225. Ugh. But it works great now. Good luck. If you have an espresso repair shop you can take it to, they can hook it up to an electrical tester and let you know if it the element.

Remove the shower screen and press button to brew, if water flows the the holes in the screw/diffuser is blocked, if water does not flow then the blockage is at the solenoid or within the group head chamber. This problem I have notice when someone brewed without the shower and screw in place.

Hold down button for 8 to 10 seconds. If that is not working then you might have the older model in which you have to hold down the stop plus the button that you are programming until you get the desired volume then release button and stop button.

Hi
Your brew gear drive is broken. Your doser knob is det to the max and you got an over charge in the brew unit that the drive could not compress and it broke some of the teeth on the gear. You will have to replace the gear and make sure that it is timed before testing or you will break it again.
