How to fit my bobbing casing?

I just bought a VIVOTM-1004 serial number# MIC14700055177 sewing machine right before christmas, I just now have time to sew, when I notice that the bobbing casing was not in the casing right. I removed plate to put the bobbing casing back in, that is when I notice that the casing would not fit. I tried to take it back to Walmart where I bought it from. Unforturely they would not replace it. I would like to know if it can be fix.

Use your hand wheel and turn it. Monitor under the throat plate. The part you see moving will eventually show an opening. Stop there and install your bobbin casing. If it has a little metal piece across you will have to lift it slightly. After it is snug you can install the bobbin.

My needle is stuck in the bobbing case of my sewing machine, it will bend and break if i force it up.

From the pictures I've seen, it looks like you should be able to move the two black levers on either side of the bobbin case and remove the shuttle. With the shuttle out of the way, the bobbin case should be released from the needle. (I've had to do this with my own machines at times.)

If the needle is hanging up in the bobbin, it is likely that the machine is out of time (the needle is not penetrating the bobbin area at the correct time). (Verify that you are using the right needles for your machine--some needles are longer and could cause it to hang up in the machine. And then check to make sure you are installing the needle with the flat side facing the correct direction.) You could try to take it for service, however, the cost may not be justifiable vs purchasing a new machine. Perhaps talking to some sewing repair shops will give you an idea of the cost to repair.

Can I get a zipper foot? I can't find mine.My machine is about 16 years old.

Contact the manufacturer of your sewing machine on their website. Look for Support. Give them the model number and serial number of your machine and they should be able to help you.

Or try searching eBay for your make and model number of sewing machine add +zipper to the search term and it should bring up anything with zipper in the description.
