No sound on radio even if it is on, or no sound on phone, or no sound on map voice.
This will only work as far as I know with the touch navigation screen. If you don't have that then the fuse step listed below should work on the non navi unit! If this just started I would suggest using a paperclip and hold down the reset button by the phone button above the Navigation touch screen. You will lose all your preset channels and all your settings will reset to factory settings including your bluetooth. You will have to pair your phone again and call Sirius XM if you have the service because usually it knocks out the signal so when you call you would just need to call and the automated system will remit your radio with a fresh signal and if that doesn't work then go to a live agent but just make sure you are not using your Bluetooth in your car because you can't listen to SiriusXM while on a live a call on bluetooth.
If that doesn't work then read your manual to pull the fuse. If all that is done and you are still experiencing the problem take your car to the dealership because it sounds like there might be a problem with the head unit. As long as you have not made any aftermarket adjustments to the car or sound system your warranty will cover it.
Hope this works for you and wish you the best of luck!
P.S. Finally after a year year I got my head unit replaced and everything was working fine then I had 2 family emergencies the day after I got my car back then I landed in the hospital for 2 weeks and was very sick for a week before being admitted so I didn't realize the replacement head unit was defective! I brought my car in yesterday March 19th and they replaced my headunit again it this time it works great. The last one my Route button got stuck and I couldn't get into my navigation or get into my setup button options. I am waiting for the FSE to come next week to do my software and map updates since this new headunit doesn't have the software and maps my original unit had. That's not a big deal since the FSE travels all over half of Florida.
You need to reset the sound system. I did it by taking out the fuse for the audio system marked "amp" and I did another marked "A/V system" (you'll have to read the owners manual for the the right fuse, but I'm guessing it's the same - I have a Santa Fe). I understand you can also reset the system by using a paper clip or ballpoint pen and pushing in the tiny recessed button by the CD player. I haven't done that, but if it works, it's certainly easier than taking out the fuses. Either way, wait at least 15-20 seconds (before releasing the button or replacing the fuse). Note: you will lose all your radio presets, so you may want to write them down.
