Why will my digital antenna not rotate using either the remote or manual button?

Your XFINITY remote can be paired with XFINITY X1 TV boxes, allowing you to control the TV box even when it is placed out of sight, such as in an entertainment center or in another room (up to 50 feet away). XFINITY remotes can be identified by the model number on the back panel or within the battery compartment of the remote.

Hi, i copied from the manual the instructions to do what you want.

1. Manually turn on the Cable Box.
2. Press the CBL button on the remote control.
3. Press and hold the SET button until the LED LIGHT flashes twice.
4. Find the programming code for your Cable Box in the code list below and enter it using the Number Buttons. If the code is accepted, the LED flashes twice after the last digit is
entered. If the LED does not flash twice, repeat Steps 2 through 4 with the next code listed for the component and manufacturer.
5. Point the remote control at the Cable Box and press the POWER button. The Cable Box will turn off. If the LED does not flash twice, repeat Steps 2 through 4 with the next code listed for the component and manufacturer.

To programme a Bose Cinemate remote control for Sky+ & Sky HD

1. Press and hold the Setup button until all 5 green lights show

The RCA TV codes for an Innovage Jumbo Remote are: 000, 003, 004, 005, 007, 009, 011, 015, 048, 082, 092, 094, 096, 098, 101, 102, 103, 107, 113, 125, 129, 167, 179, 187, 188, 191, & 194.

To program your remote by entering a code, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
4. Enter the first set of 3-digit codes from the list. The LED will blink once every keypress. After the 3rd digit, the red LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized for the device. If the code was not compatible, the LED will flash several times and you need to return to step 2 to try that code again or to try the next code in the list.
   
5. After the LED has turned off, aim the remote at the TV and press ON/OFF. If the device turns off, you have used the correct code and the remote was successfully programed. If the device does not power off, return to step 2 and try again with the next code in the list.

There are so many codes to try, you may want to try the auto-search function that I am going to describe below.

I don't see a code for a Motorola cable box, so I advise using the auto-search function for CABLE or SAT.

To have the remote try each CABLE or SAT code it knows one at a time, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your cable box.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the CABLE or SAT button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
4. Press the ON/OFF button slowly and repeatedly until the cable box turns off. The LED will blink once each time you press the ON/OFF button.
   
5. Once the cable box turns off, press the ENTER button to store the code and the LED will turn off.
   

To program the remote for your TV, repeat this process starting with turning the TV on, then follow the steps substituting the TV button for the CABLE or SAT button.

AUTO SEARCH FOR CODE
To program your remote in Auto Search Mode, first turn on the device you wish to program and point the remote toward it.

Then press and hold the SET and POWER buttons until the LED turns on.

Then press the device key ( CATV or RCVR) .

The LED will flash once.

Then press the CH+ button.

Then hold the POWER button for about two seconds until the LED turns on.
Release the POWER button and the LED will flash slowly. Your remote is searching through all of the codes. Continue to point the remote at the device until your device responds.
If your device turns off, turn it back on and press the CH+ button on your remote. Then press the POWER button and CH+ button alternately until the device turns off and the code is correct. Press the ENTER button to confirm and store the code. The LED will flash three times and then turn off.


If the above is not helpful then try manually searching for code:

First, press the device button on your remote.

Then press and hold the SET button. While holding the SET button, press 1 to find the first digit, 2 to find the second digit or 3 to find the third digit.

The LED flashing time will stand for each code number. If it doesn’t flash, it will stand for zero.

For example, the TV code you are trying to find is 102.

Press the SET button and 1. The LED will flash one time.

Press the SET button and 2. The LED will not flash.

Press the SET button and 3. The LED will flash two times.

Press the ENTER button to confirm and store the code. The LED will flash three times and then turn off.
