SOURCE: Grohe shower assembly leaking

hiit sounds as though the diverter valve is sticking in the mid position although you have turned it to the floor spout as you call it!!
Also it sounds as though the seals are possibly leaking causing the plasterboard (drywall) to get we, or possibly a joint may be leaking. Advice access the pip-work valve etc run shower & check with torch (flashlight) to see where its coming from?
Rectification work replace seals/repair leak...replace diverter valve assembly.

SOURCE: Grohe hand held shower head stopped working

This is a simple fix. The tools you need are: cresent wrench. You want to remove the shower hear off of the pipe coming from the wall. On the inside of the end off the shower head there should be a small plastic disk remove it. It will have a series of holes this is called a water saver. The holes get stopped up with minreals take a tooth pick and clean them out. I see this all the time. If that does not work it will be in the valve

SOURCE: leak where Grohe shower head attached to the threaded pipe

using a pair of vice grips wrapped in a soft towel( to prevent scractching) turn the shower head in a counter clockwise direction to remove it then apply liquid teflon (real-tuf) to the threads on the shower arm and tighten the shower head but dont over tighten it liquid teflon is more effective at sealing leaks than teflon tape and it can be wiped clean

SOURCE: low water pressure in grohe hand held. Is there a

1 Check if the holes in the hand held shower are not clogged with scum which generally happens over prolonged use. Clean them with a pin. 2 If this does not help, then check the the pipe connecting the shower to the water outlet. It should be clean and not clogged with foreign material which restricts the flow of water. 3 It still it does not help then you may have to fix a booster pump or raise the level of the water reservoir.

SOURCE: we have two showers one works perfect the other

Sounds like the anti-scald pressure balancing piece is stuck. This happens if the shower isn't used regularly. A varnish from minerals in the water causes it to stick. You can replace the cartridge or try cleaning this one by soaking it in white vinegar. When the cartridge is clean you should hear it rattle when you shake it. To prevent it from happening again be sure to run the hot and cold water at least once a week. BTW, if you are the original owner of the faucet Moen will send you a new cartridge free.

Testimonial: "Information very imformative and the added extra about moen was very nice as that is what I have and I am the original owner of the home."

Limit is displayed on my grohe digital shower what does it mean

Limit message is when the output water set temperature can not be reached, this is normally when the incoming hot water to the shower unit is not sufficiently hot. Service code 20 is something else inside the unit that is faulty, it could be a number of faults. Try reset Power down unit and re-start, it will either say Wait or Priming, after that it should restart, hopefully it will work. If not, you could have a internal fault with: The mixer valve/motor, the flow control valve or motor, the flow sensor. If you have hot water from other taps, then the mixer valve/motor is the most likely fault. If you only have cold water only from the shower head with limit message it could be the Hot solenoid controlled valve is faulty. Good luck as there are no spares available!

I have a Grohe shower system that has the temperature control it was working fine and now the water only comes out luke warm. the handle goes from 65 degrees to 110 degrees. I live in a older highrise...

WEll, the question is do your sinks have water that is hot enough? If no, perhaps your water heater is set too low. If yes, many shower controls have hot limiter and if you pull the handle, often there is a spline assembly that stops the travel from going hot, adjust to allow more.

Water turns cold very quickly

I had the EXACT same problem (installed my tankless last winter and worked fine, now this summer it fluctuates, have to turn the shower completely off and then on again to get any hot water and then it only lasts for a couple of minutes!) Argh - it is frustrating!

Here's what I found: the demand for hot water is lower during the summer (hot) months because the "cold" water coming in is already quite warm. You don't need as much hot water to make the shower temp comfortable. SO, my tankless was shutting off due to low flow demand. I've removed the flow restrictor from my shower head and it helped alot but didn't completely solve the prob. Next step is what has been recommended to me by several people but is much more expensive - change the pressure valve on your shower to a temperature valve. Or just wait til winter and it should work ok again :)

Very little cold water, lots of hot from kohler shower valve

Probably some pipe rust clogged the exit.
If u have pretty low pressure on one or both, hot and cold water, try keep force closed by hand the water exit at shower pipe, then start both cold and warm water gradually as much as u can keep it closed with the hand.
The pressure of the water will try "escape thru the clogged pipe and hopefully unlock that debris or rust!
The hot water pressure going back thru the cold water pipe might unclog that debris.
Just a simple fix which many times works as a charm..
Otherwise if this is not fixing, try close both water from main service valve.
Then unscrew the secondary shower valves and manually clean them or replace if very damaged.

I have exactly the same problem

you need to change the cartridge, it is a temp control and is going bad so it keeps you from burning yourself it is like a mixing valve and is givng more cold water, that way you don;t get burned,,
