Vertical lines on a plasma TV are caused by either a failing x-buffer board or a loose connection at the flex cable between the panel and the buffer board. Sometimes just removing the flex cable, cleaning it, snd reinstalling it will fix it.

Samsung Plasma pn51d550c1fxza 3D TV developed colored vertical lines that sometimes meld into the picture but do change color at times

The symptoms you are describing with your Samsung plasma TV are consistent with a failure of the plasma display panel or a failure of the plasma drivers that control the display Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure all the cables and connections to the TV are secure and not damaged. Loose or damaged cables can cause visual distortions on the screen.
  2. Perform a factory reset: Sometimes a factory reset can fix issues with the TV. Refer to the TV manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
  3. Check the internal components: If you have experience working with electronics, you can try opening the TV and checking for any obvious damage or loose components. However, be aware that opening a TV can be dangerous and may void the warranty.

Hi my Samsung plasma TV PN50C550G1f has a thin light colored vertical line on the left and right sides. The lines appear when using cable or Roku. With menu on, the lines appear over the menu.

Sounds like signal radiation from these devices which comes down to proximity or poor cables (screening) to me this is like the old days with video's under TV's causing lines and I would put a metal tray between them (or a silver one in some places).
If its proximity then move a metal tray or similar around during this event to see if you can find a spot when it clears or reposition an item. If its leads then close your hand around a cable this should make those lines vary if so obtain better types or move them around to better positions (called dressing cables).

Hope this helps..........

Blue vertical line thru picture

It is called "Thin vertical lines" and change colors depending on the background color.
It is fixable but there are several components that can show this sympton.

You will need a tech to fix it in order to save money (because you do not want to buy a board you dont know if will fix it).
Possible Solutions:
Replace Timer Control Board, if it is not fixed
Replace Sustain Board.

One of those boards needs to be replaced and I wrote the most likely first.
