Sansa Clip 4GB...no audio when playing songs ...FM audio fine
Not sure why this is happening ...I have lost all audio output when I attempt to play any of my music...however, the FM audio is fine and the Voice Recorder audio is fine..

You go to Settings, check System Info, check number of songs in there. If they are existing, you should change to MTP or MSC to play it. Or go to Settings, Reset All, Yes. Try it.
If you accidentally formatted it, can't restore them.
Good luck
I've had this happen a couple of times in the last 6 months. You can get it to play again by chosing the format option from the settings menu. Of course, then you've lost everything you had loaded on to it. Download your music/audio books again and they will play.
the radio and mp3 uses one audio amplifier, check if you have loaded your music with mp3 songs, if not load with mp3 songs. if songs used to play and just stopped playing, then follow these steps,
i does your display show song playing, if it does then your set is fault, and if it doent and display unsuppoted, load with mp3 songs.
ii if it was playing and just stopped, than take it to a tech, who can open it and check the change-over switch, or selector of that set.
I later found out that while trying to download more songs, the entire songs in my sandisk mp3 was corrupted by a virus. I solved the problem by formatting the device and thereafter downloaded new songs into it. As soon as I did that, the songs started playing normally at full volume.
It might be a firmware issue you are having..Try going to the sandisk website to obtain a firmware update for your device.. I hope that helps Thank you
1) Go into the settings menu, go to FM settings, and make sure the FM Region is set for United States. If you are outside the US, change it to "World" 2) The radio might initially be set for Pause - to test this, turn to a specific radio station that you know you get, and press up on the clickwheel. The "block" icon underneath the radio station should now change to a play arrow, if indeed it was on pause.
