T7316E Voicemail Password Issues

NorStar T7316E phone. Former employee left without leaving password for VM. Have tried re-setting password using Feature 983, Log: 738662 AND 73738767793. All information entered shows "Invalid Password". Help please!

    I have tried both of these using Feature 983. Neither provide me a valid password. I'm still recieving the message that says 'invalid password'.

Feature 983
password is: 1020000 (if you use 3 difit extensions)
OR
120000 (if you have 2 digit extensions)

    reset the password:
    Press feature 985
    Extension of vociemail is displayed. Dial 9
    PSWD: RESETSMPSWD (73738767793)
    Reset PSWD? Press YES
    Login will be changed to default (1020000 for 3 digit EXT's or 120000 for 2 digit)

    now you can log into feature 983 1020000 or 120000

******* STOP ****** Ok, the password that you are trying 73738767793 that resets the whole voicemail system password!!
What you want is to change the individual voicemail password...
-> Feature 9 8 3 -> Password 1020000 (this is the default password to get you in as an administrator) -> Select the softkey under "MBOX" -> Select the softkey under "Chng" -> Enter the mailbox number that you want to change -> The display shows "Reset Password" -> Select the softkey under "RESET" -> Press the release key
* The temporary password willbe "0000".

Have your system administrator go into voicemail programming and reset the mailbox password. The default password will be "0000".
I hope you understand that having passwords in the first place is a security measure, so I will not give directions for hacking into your companies voicemail system.

To reset a subscriber mailbox press feature 983, enter in log (default 1020000), on the 3 soft keys bolow the the screen press mbox,chng, enter extension number of the locked mailbox, press reset at the reset password prompt.press rls key

1020000 no longer works
it's really simple.
enter Feature 985 then 9 and spell out RESETSMPSWD (73738767793) and then YES. That's it. it should go back to the original one. if your extension are 3 digits should be 1020000 and so on.

Go to programming of Norstar which will be F**266344 password will be 266344.
Dispaly shows u terminal and extensions.
press show
then next display will show u capabilities.
Press show then next display will show u FWD no answer.press show then next.and change the ringing as per ur requirement.

T7316E Voicemail issue
Reset the voicemail password.

Do so by first presing

Function 985 (to view the mailbox number the phone is using)
Function 983
Log: 1020000 (or 120000, 10020000 1st is for 2 digit extensions 2nd is for 4 digit extensions)
Left Button (MBOX)
Right Button (CHG)
Enter Extension
Left Button (RESET)

This should reset the passwod to 0000, the steps maybe a little bit off depending on the software version installed on the phone system, but something like that will fix the problem.

You will need to dial into the system admin of the voicemail
Feature 983
the password is dependant on how many digits your extensions use. 1020000 for 3 digit and 10020000 for 4 digit, 120000 for 2 digit.
go through the screens

Mailboxes, modify, scroll to password and press change.
Will reset to 0000.
