Set the camera to one of the remote modes. The quick-response remote mode fires the camera when you push the button on the remote, just as if you were pushing the shutter release button on the camera. The delayed response remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the camera. The remote mirror-up mode raises the mirror the first time you press the button, then fires the camera the second time to prevent camera shake.
if this is an oasis model. Try pushing other buttons you should get a touch tone (beep) as a good response. if no sound you seem to have a interface problem. not a main ctrl.
The buttons on this unit are on an overlay. Basically, the buttons are a big sticker that goes on the console. I would start by checking the connection between the overlay and the console board. If the connections in good, then try a new overlay. If that does not work then the console board is bad.

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused. You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.
If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display. This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.
Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

There is a switch under your break padal, which is responsible for tail lights and gear lock. if that switch is working fine and your tail lights are working fine then check the electronic lock of gear which is under the cover of gear.
