Check the end of the battery and make sure the pins are nice and clean also check inside were the battery goes and make sure its all clean in there,
if after all that it might be worth changing the battery if it still does not work.
or battery could not be charging anymore and its dead.
if not any of the above please get back to me.good luck.

SOURCE: No power/charge

Check that the battery is properly installed. Check the AC Adapter for power. Otherwise take the machine back to the seller. It is still under warranty.

SOURCE: asus eee pc sends terrible buzz from mixer to speakers when charging

Wrap some aluminum foil around your charging cord (right up to the point where it plugs into the computer)
This happens when elecromagnetic interference happens from the electricity from your cord and your A/V cords come too close together without protection.
Tin foil, any can's if you cut them properly, essentially just something to keep the interference away from the cord. You mostly notice this at concerts or if playing an electric guitar and it gets too close to the amp it creates a humming/buzzing noise that can get pretty annoying. Try the tin foil though that should work fine, don't be afraid to use a lot of it either, it won't hurt anything, the better wrapped it is the more likely you will get rid of the buzz

Hi have notebook 6710b with windows 7 32 bit and saying battery not detected

that is normal. 12 years old laptop HP.
if the main battery fails to run the PC on battery power alone then it is no good.
the PC can have 2 batteries, inside. (PCs have lots of options new this is just 1)
most had only 1 new so report 2nd missing for the rest of its life.
normal
if it reports both missing that means the battery is totally dead, 100%
on some you can enter the BIOS and turn off 2nd battery feature.
(no promises on that, BIOS version many , in the wild)

some of these have the 2nd battery that fits to the docking port.

take out the battery and clean the gold contacts there,?
both ends? bat and PC, but no battery ever lasted 14 years ,so
buy one, and try that?

Battery is not charging

Hi, You maybe encountering errors such as plug in not charging or no battery detected. If so, there's a posibility that the problem is with the battery itself or the charger that you are using or worse, the DC port on the laptop. Here some steps for you to be able isolate the exact problem and which part is need to be replaced.
1. Removed the battery.
2. Connect the laptop directly to the power outlet without using the battery just for the meantime.
3. Turn on the laptop. If the laptop is able to power on, that means that the AC adapter is working fine as well as the DC port. If the laptop is not able to turn on, it maybe the AC adapter itself or the DC port.
4. Try to use another AC adapter if possible, make sure that that AC adapter is working fine. If the laptop is still not turning on, the problem is with the DC port itself. In that case, you will need to replaced the Motherboard or the Base Cover of the laptop itself.

Tv turns itself offon an irregular basis

I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.

Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
Solutions?
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.

Hope this helps

My Dell Inspiron 1520 seems to use a lot of battery power, even when the lid is closed, and nothing is running. Is there any way to save battery power, without going into standby mode, or turning off the...

How long does your battery usually last? If it lasts 2 hours or more, that's normal for a notebook computer. The standby mode and turning off of hard drives is what notebooks are designed to do to give you more battery life. If you have to have it on and available all the time without going into standy mode, you'll need to get used to charging it every couple of hours. If you want to get more battery life, try the following options:
1) have the display turned off when not in use (this setting can be changed where you set up your screensaver)
2) turn off the wireless function (if available) when not in use
3) have the computer go to standby mode after 10 or 15 minutes of inactivity.
4) lower the brightness of your display

All of the above assumes that you're getting a decent charge and can use the notebook unplugged for 2 hours or more. Naturally, over time, notebook batteries wear down and don't hold a charge as well as they once did. If your notebook is a few years old and you're only getting an hour or so on a full battery, then it is probably time to invest in a new battery. If your notebook is new and you are getting this short battery life, contact Dell for a replacement battery as yours may be defective.

One last thing about notebook batteries. They are designed to be charged up and run down. If you leave your computer plugged in to a/c power all the time while you are using your computer, this greatly speeds up the wearing down of the battery. Whenever possible, you should fully charge your battery and then run the battery down to 10% or less before plugging it back in. This ensures that you get the most battery life on a consistent basis.

Hope this help. Please take a moment to rate the solution. Thanks.

The problem might be the battery itself. Four years is a long time for rechargeables. Also, check if the error ocurs when the battery is not in the slot.

An irregularity in the Camcorder has been automatically detected. Remove the cassette or the card for data protection and then press the [RESET] Button. The Camcorder will be activated. ? If you do not press the [RESET] Button, the power to the Camcorder is turned off automatically about 1 minute later. ? Even after you press the [RESET] button, the indication may still appear repeatedly. If so, the Camcorder needs repair. Detach the power connected, and consult the dealer who you purchased the Camcorder from. Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Here is the location of the reset button: 1 Open the LCD Monitor 2 Undo Grip Belt end and pull Lens Cap Cord downward to loosen Grip Belt. 3 Use projection on the Lens Cap to press the [RESET] Button . If this doesn't work here is the link to the site that I found this information on. http://www.indiana.edu/~libugls/equipment/pdfs/PanasonicPVGS29.pdf It is located on page 78 of the pdf file.
