It caused water to over flow and noticed it coming out under the under carrage.
Probable cause would be a leaking check valve in the pump.
On the RV the city water and discharge from the fresh water pump are tied together. When on city water the discharge of the pump will have city water pressure on it. If the internal check valve on the pump is leaking, water will flow through the pump backwards and into your fresh water tank.

Johnny is correct. There will be a valve somewhere along the water coming in from the hose hook up on the outside. You open this valve to fill your tank, watching your tank fill gauge so you can turn it off once full. Anyhow, pretty simple....unless you had the valve closed from the start???
If you have the Anderson valve in the wet bay these are "KNOWN" to leak by when in city water mode and fill the fresh tank. They are the cheapest piece of **** on the market with the biggest price tag ever. I have had customers in the shop have these replace 4 times under warranty. We usually end up replacing the Anderson valve with the normal 2 port set up. One to fill the tank one to run city water.

How many questions from the same person?,there is a valve near the tank that needs to be shut when hooked up to city water, you use that valve to fill your tank or when using only the tank,
Hello.
There are three different tanks on that model.
A 57 gallon fresh water tank- it should be marked potable (drinking water for human consumption).
There's a gray water 80 gallon tank for sink and shower waste water collection.
And a 40 gallon black water tank- for toilet waste collection (solid, liquid, and paper.)
Check your owner's manual for operation and cleaning instructions; or call the dealer whom you bought or rented the RV from for assistance.
