Test outlet power by switching the unit to manual bypass and breakers off. If power is supplied OK and the filter board repaired OK then restart the unit starting with the breakers supply to unit, battery confirm the display is on and static bypass led also on then switch back the bypass knob to normal and press the on button to switch the unit to normal. Give the batteries time to charge 12hours then you can test the unit on backup mode.
You've got this in a UPS section, but it sounds like it is a CRAC unit - with leak detection and a containment pan - or humidity option? Either way, when you say "water alarm" is it a water under floor alarm, Leak detection alarm or something else? I can't find the part number your provide on Liebert's website.
We use all types of Liebert equipment where I work. Speaking with Liebert tech support people was always easy for us.. no hassles or fees. Have a look here to see which area will help you the best.
To your question, the stat, sensor or cable could be bad. If you disconnect it from the terminals - it may clear.
ive worked on many liebert units therss a water sensor on the bottom of the unit basicly the units pan try to find that switch and mayb cleen under it or if it s aprob depinding on the age
To figure out what's wrong with the UPS, first you have to do a few things.
When calculating the rating a UPS can handle, it's voltage x amperage. If it's Watts multiply the number by 1.67 to give the rating of the device.
Add up all the devices (use the power supply rating in the computer) as well as any other device, and add them up.
If this rating was exceeded, then you have overloaded the UPS. If it was too long that you did this, then you wore out the battery.
When a UPS beeps even when not connected, that means the battery is very weak.
If the battery is more than 3 years old, it will need to be changed. If the online tests of the unit were done and the battery doesn't need replacing, then other parts of the UPS need fixing.
How does it react when you simulate a power lose? Unplugg it from the wall to test it to see if it turns to battery power. If the unit goes to the battery backup normally then check to see if it has a reset button on the unit. Please let me know what size unit it is.
