How do i free up memory-space on my handset? - Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 - smartphone - GSM / UMTS

Ok click Menu and scroll down to Contacts. Then click contacts and on the next screen click names. Now here you can pick a name that you want to delete and then click Options. From here scroll all the way to the end and click Delete.

Now if you receive or sends allot of texts then you need to click the Back button and then click Messages. Now check your Inbox first and then choose a message to delete. Click Option, scroll down to Delete and click that. You will have to do this with every message. It's time consuming but it does go by fast. Now after you delete all those messages check your Sent folder and delete those too. Click Sent Items and choose which message you want to delete. Now click Options and click delete. Doing all of this will free up so much space.

Try to increase your free phone memory, Mostly handsets do slow working when phone memory is going to be full so try to delete your some useless data and increase the free memory space. One more best option is to format or reset your cell. From your dial keypad dial the code *#7780# or *#7370# which restores the factory settings and format. it will ask you to confirm that press OK. it will take some time and your handset will be format & restored to original settings. When it ask reset password and u have not changed it before then default security code for Nokia is 12345 . You will see the clear difference after that, your handset will surely work fast.

Change your download setting to memory card. Its default is in phone so your experiencing that problem... If you dont know how to change it. Here's another option:

• Free some space in your phone memory..
• Then download some files
• after downloading, transfer hat file in your memory card. (This is ti fee again the memory in your phone)

Does it have a external memory card? If yes then check the space left the in the memory card. I believe it is trying to save the file in the memory card which already stuffed. You can either pop the card out first and then download or make some space in the card.

try moving pictures or applications to your Micro SD card to free up your common memory. Also free up your messages this also caused same problems

Nokia N95 is a Symbian handset. You might had opened many applications at one time which are consuming a lot of space on your handset. Try closing some applications or removing one-two applications from your handset and see if if works. Other then this you can try out expanding the memory for your handset.

Check your sent items and outbox folder to see if the you have any multimedia messages stored using up space...

If not then the image you are trying to send could be too large to send and save... Even though you have it set on Memory Card memory, the phone still uses its internal memory for things like the actual sending if you dont have enough space on the handset, it will show the message above

STEP 1 : First check for the free space in the handset

1. selece the option icon in the main menu
2. scroll down and then select memory
3. check for the free space in the device.If the memory is full then delete some application.

After doing all the above steps with out switching off the handset remove the batery and sim after few seconds reinsert them again.
For refreshing the handset .


STEP 2:
Check the old messages are deleting are new one if old messages are deleting then follow the below steps.

1. Select the message icon from the main menu
2. Press menu button and select the Option
3. Select the general option
4. scroll down and select KEEP MESSAGES as per your wish (30days, 15 days, forverer)
5. After selecting any one of the option press menu button and select save .

if you select 15 or 30days the old messages will delete after 15 or 30 days.
If you select forever till you delete the messages it wont delete untill you delete them.

After doing all the above steps with out switching off the handset remove the batery and sim after few seconds reinsert them again.
For refreshing the handset

Step 3:
if the messages and call logs are deleting in between then there is problem in the handset software.You have to take the backup and then reinstall the software of the handset.
