    Clear Tech Rep Faults
The following printer faults can occur during normal operation, and the normal
procedure is to isolate and repair the problem. However, with these particular faults,
an additional step is required. A value has been written in the engine NVRAM that
requires clearing before the printer can be used. Some faults require three occurrences
    before the fault is generated.
    Note
To clear a Tech Rep Fault, you must disconnect the Finisher option. The
following functions generate a Tech Rep Fault:
    1. From the Main Menu, highlight Troubleshooting and press OK.
    2. Highlight Service Tools and press OK.
    3. Press the Up and Down Arrow buttons simultaneously to enter the Hidden
    Service menu.
    4. Highlight Run Service Diagnostics and press OK to enter Service Diagnostics.
    5. Highlight NVRAM Access and press OK.
    6. Highlight Clear Tech Rep Faults and press OK.
    7. Highlight the Link Code(s) to be reset and press OK.

FAULT CODE 009-380

The Yellow ATC Sensor detects a low TC (toner concentration).

Initial Action

  • Check that Toner/Developer is present.
  • Check the Yellow ATC Sensor for contamination. Ensure that the sensor is seated correctly.

NOTE:
To clear this fault, enter Component Control and set the value of NVM location 752-109 to 0.

This can be caused by many things. I've seen broken Drum contacts from improper drum installation causing Developer bead carryover. Toner dispense motor assy's failing. Developer Housing failure. DVHVPS failure.

Xerox phaser 7760 saying "black ATC sensor failure - code 009-380", i changed developer and xerox phaser 7760 saying "black ATC sensor failure - code 009-380", i changed developer and xerox phaser 776

When you have a sensor failure, you need to replace the black ATC sensor and recalibrate it. Another reason for sensor failure is you are not getting toner moved down to mix with the developer...the toner tube/auger spring could be clogged up or not functioning.

Also if you changed the developer housing when you changed the developer, you need to change the value to the new sensor # that comes with the housing.

Error 14 scanner

That sensor is located in the developer housing. You can either replace the sensor, or replace the developer housing, which comes with the sensor. Either way, you will need to go into diagnostics and set the value of the new ATC sensor after replacement. (You will need to replace the developer powder if you get a new developer housing)
