I have a JVC mini DV digital Video camera model No. GR-D295U that was lost for almost 5 years and we found it. The camera had a tape inside and we can see it but the sound like jumps, is anyway that I can get something to clean the inside of the camera and the cassettes that I still have? Also it plays the cassette a little bit and the it start showing a message that reads remove and reattach battery, unit in safeguard mode I remove and reattached the battery a couple of times but the message keeps popping up. Thanks......

it says "in safeguad mode, eject and reinsert the tape.
i have done it still no progress. please help me with this problem.

On the camcorder problem: It seems to be a well known problem and it costs more to solve this than to buy a new one!

Wow! This is the same problem that I am having since I brought mines in 2006. This is imagining that this same problems and happening to many. Maybe it was a lemon of this product.
