Where can I find the model number on a diplomat five burner range?

Hi,

Please set up an appointment with a handyman with a site like Angi or Home Depot repair services to get an intial diagnostic. You might need to have the whole door replaced as the current oven door is safety hazard.

You need your burner replacing, order on line, just goole your oven model, you will need your serial number, half price of buying from your gas fitter, mine was, it's a five minute job to fit for a gas safe plumber

Their are 2 types of ranges. Ones with sealed burners and ones that do not have sealed burners. The sealed burner ranges must have a kit to replace the orifices. The none seal burner models are simply called crank down and flip models. That means you flip the screw on top of the regulator to where it reads LP. and then you tighten down the spuds on the top burners and the oven valve and then you adjust the air shutters.

Note: Some stoves with sealed burners cannot be converted to LP. The model number you posted is not a correct model number.

The oven gas valve coil has failed Need to replace. Go to repairclinic.com and put in the model and order the coil for the valve. It controls the gas valve.

Ours did the same, I unplugged the stove for 1 minute and afterwards the burners worked fine.

Could you find the completer mode number because the number listed above your post is for a gas oven.
Look at following areas for the model number

• Under Right Front Burner
• Under Left Top Burner Front Or Rear
• Under Main Top Left, Rear Or Center Front
• Under Left Rear Or Right Front Element
• On Nameplate Inside Burner Box
• On Front On Burner Box Bottom
• On Nameplate On Oven Door Liner
• On Main Front Behind Oven Or Compartment Door
• On Front, Center Bottom Of Burner Box
• On Thermostat Cover Under Main Top

sounds like it's the touchpad and possibly the board behind it. i would replace both just in case.

did you change the ovens burner orfice?if not theres your problem.
