Is Google Play store the app that isn't working?

Go to Settings > Apps > All and locate the app you are having an issue with and then clear the app data. Reboot and try again.

Toyota 4runner 2006 is locking automatically then beeping/head&tail lights flashing every 60 seconds. Won't stop. How do I fix this?

That happened to my wife when I bought her a car (with a factory installed alarm sys) that didn't come with the remote... Any local car alarm installer can reprogram another one for you (which is what we wound up having to do cost us $50) sometimes theres a lil tiny toggle switch under the dash somewhere on after market alarm systems

When I try to download an App, I get an ERROR that says: Error retrieving information from server. [RPC-S-5:AEC-0]. How can I get this to download apps?

Fixing RPC:S-5:AEC-0 Google Play Store Error

The Google Play / Android Market error retrieving information from server RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error message can be a bit of a pain, the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error just randomly appeared on my tablet after it upgraded to a newer version of Android. However this is how i managed to fix the RPC:S-5:AEC-0 error with ease.
  1. Load the Settings app, click apps, then select "All"
  2. Next in the all apps view find the "Google Play Store" and click on it
  3. Now click "Clear Cache" (Not Data), then Force Stop.
  4. Next in the same app list find "Google Service Framework"
  5. Click clear data (Not Cache), then Force Stop
  6. Switch off the phone or tablet and turn it back on
  7. You should be able to download and update apps from the Google Play store once more.

Enjoy no more RPC:S-5:AEC-0 errors when downloading or updating apps.
Or Simply Go to settings/app.manager/all
Delete data + cache :
Google Play Store
Google Play-services
Google Services Framework
Hangouts
Market-feedback agent (important)
Then delete google-account(data/system/user/0/ fine the accounts.db file and cut and paste it somewhere else)
Restart the phone and then re-add google-account( paste your accounts.db file earlier to it's original location).
p/s~Your device need to be rooted to remove/delete google account without a factory reset.

enjoy and have a good day :)

I will skype installerd on my Archos tablet 101. Can you help me ?

Find the Market (Android Market) on your apps list. Open the Market and search for Skype. Click the Install button. Once it has downloaded and installed, you should be able to find Skype in your Apps list.

If this was helpful, please remember to leave me positive feedback.

I try accessing the Market on the G1 and gives me a force close notification. It shows this - sorry! The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. This has been going on...

well obviously the market app wont work until you have an active wireless connection. But it also sounds like the market app is corrupted. Connect your g1 to a wireless network with internet access and then go into settings and tell it to search for updates. That might fix it

I press the market app and it says that apllication market has stopped unexpectedly! I just got this phone over the weekend and I cant seem to figure out why it does that, please help!!

well what you should do is turn the phone off and remove the battery for about 2-3 min.. replace the battery then, try to launch the market app again.. now if that does not work and it continues to crash it may be a defect with the original loading of the app from the manufacturer, because market app is pre- installed on the device before consumer contact... so if its a app you downloaded from market app thats different but if its the actual app market app then you need to take the phone back to where you purchased it and if they cant do a master reset they may need to replace the device if they cant take the bug out of the market app..

hope this works..

Changing name on android market feedback with G1

Sign into your Google account, top right of the iGoogle page it says My Account, go in there. Then top left by the Google smiley, there's an option to Edit you account info.

The Android Market picks up your name from there. Whatever is in the first name field will show when you review an app.

Just found it when I realised I had a wrong letter in my name in the market. changed that and fixed it in the review.

Hope that helps!
