I recently bought a Seeburg USC1 Firestar jukebox. When selecting a 200 series record the selection plays but the "2" light does not light up. The others work fine. When playing a 100 series selection it works fine. Can you suggest how to resolve? Thanks

The bulb that lights up the 2 is blown. Usually other bulbs blow also. I think they are 18 or 24 volts I cannot remember. Just replace with the same type or sub out one of the digit bulbs to prove its not something else.

Selections already made on jukebox, how do I clear them

Hello stillwell42,

What model is your Rowe Ami jukebox, there will be an information label on the back or inside the jukebox with the serial number and the model type. We can suggest a solution once we know your model type.

Alan

Seeburg jukebox ay160 won't select record

(1) Make sure that the credit unit is not stuck and that all of the contacts open and close correctly while manually operating the solenoids. Lubricate it if the wheel does not turn freely. (2) Make sure that there are credits on the machine. (3) If it still wont select check fuses or (4) try pressing the letter and the number simultaneously, some "free play" set ups will work this way.

I have a 1971 SEEBURG MODEL USC2 "Bandshell"

Tormat has been energized by movement over the carpet, someone touching it with a high charge or natural static in the air of a dry house. There is a procedure to deenergize the tormat with a battery. I am searching for the battery size and procedure myself. I will come back if I find out

I have a 1971 seeburg firestar jukebox - the zero (0) does not seem to work when you punch in the 3 numbers for the selection - so none of my selections that have zero in it do not play - also I do not...

Same key that operates the locks on the sides unlocks the top, but top might be sticky. Push down on it.
Order keys if you don't have them. It's key F291. GOOD locksmith can make it or order one off eBay.
Your jukebox is a USC2. Use that model number as a reference.
Keypad "0" contacts are probably dirty or broken, or the connectors to the keyboard or black and gray boxes might be loose or need cleaning. Circuit board might be dirty (YES! This is a common Seeburg issue). To clean it of check for broken contacts on the "0" key, you'll have to remove it and open it up. Putting it back together can be tricky. Be patient.
Worst case, you can install a replacement keyboard.

If you have someone come out, be SURE to have them give the jukebox a good lubrication. Seeburgs are complicated machines and need periodic lubrication.

Also, buy a manual. Jukebox repairmen don't usually have the manuals for your jukebox. Too many.

Mechanism will not pick up records

Hi,

Check out the tormat on your jukebox. It runs almost the full length of the mechanism. On the tormat is the A and B side contacts and a ground rail. You will see that on the mechanism is a arm that runs over these contacts on it it has very fine wire links (similar to those on motor brushes) these can become disconnected and may require being resolderd back into place.
