Okay, the heat you're feeling is normal. That's the door heaters doing their job. Without them, you'd have condensation building up in those areas and water all over the floor. Unless you can smell something cooking from those or, they stop working, they'll be okay. Most likely it has something to do with the humming which I will address now.
The condenser is probably plugged with dirt. This will cause the compressor to work harder and make that humming noise. Because it can't remove the heat as well (from being plugged), the cabinet is heating up in those areas you mention beyond their normal temperature.
Clean that condenser and see if that helps. It must be free of all obstructions to work properly.
Worst case scenario. If the condenser is clean, the compressor might have gone bad.
