The user manual does not help with this error. Sometimes there is a reset procedure, but I could not find something like that.

It is my understanding that they are designed to have some temperature compensation built into them. If this fails, (it will warm with use, making the balance wheel bigger and thus slowing it down), then perhaps this is causing your problem.
Whatever the cause, it sounds like a job for Rolex.
