I just purchased a Dell XPS 8500 with Windows 8 and decided to keep using my old Harmon Kardon HK 206 speakers because I'm quite satisfied with these speakers. When I hooked them to my new PC, Windows 8 recognized them right away. The speakers work great on my new PC. Try going to the Control Panel and see if your speakers were recognized. (On my PC they're referred to as "Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio). That's due to the default drivers in Windows 8. As long as you see speakers in the control panel, you should be OK. In that case you should check your connections. If you don't see speakers in the control panel, go back one screen and select add a device and let Windows 8 scan for any device that it hadn't recognized before.
after you connect the laptop and the image shifts to the right, press auto adjust on the remote and the image will get OK. If not try resetting the projector settings to factory [not the lamp settings] this should solve the problem if not change the main board
it has to be set up as an additional monitor/display. so, there are settings to set up the displays as either twins, unique seperate or something like that. have not had to do it. but i know that the graphics have to be able to recognize what format the signal is. pc settings change and graphics setttings change. have you done both? the projector should have had instructions? if not look for the manual online.
Press Fn + F4 keys, it will change output to external monitor. Toggle keys to get needed combonation: projector only -> Projector+Laptop screen -> Laptop screen
It has nothing to do with installing English version over Japanese version , check it whether it shows in device manager or not, installed it. If you don't get the message"New Hardware Detected" when you plug the
projector into the laptop, you probably don't have the drivers for the
projector loaded into the laptop or computer and the computer doesn't recognize the
projector. After your finished using the projector, be sure to
disconnect it properly from the laptop. There is an icon in the tray,
"Safely Remove Hardware". De-activate the projector BEFORE you pull out
the USB cable from the laptop.
check if windows recognizes the projector or not. if it doesnt recognize it then you'll have to try the add hardware app and let Plug and play do its thing.
