First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

Dell 964 Photo All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7) Since you have no printer disk, you'll need an OCR Program so youm can scan documents. Simple OCR should work nicely with this printer.

i am sorry to say that your printer is not win 7 compatible
it is compatible only with win XP/200/vista

As for the 964 printer, ues you can make it wireless by using a Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300 or some type of wireless print server. To install the drivers for the 964 printer, you will need to post in the Dell Printers Forum, as the printer drivers on a Vista machine are a little tricky to install but I have my 964 printer working with a 3300 , (thanks for Rick dell forum)

Good luck! I doubt that one exists outside of Dell. Most ink printers are the same.

i suggest yo contact dell, they may be able to send you some ink cartridges for testing or you could purchase some new ink (if the new inks doesnt work then its a hardware issue)
