Your lamp is getting old. When it shuts off the led in the front (the one that says Lamp) should be blinking a code, several short blinks followed by a pause. Count the blinks and compare them to the info in the manual. My lamp went out after 4 years, $46 to replace it was all.
remove the lamp and visually check if inside looks broken.if visually do not see any thing wrong, check if you have 300 volts dc supply on the ballast which starts the lamp.if you do then the ballast may be defective.if you do not then the power supply should be checked.
the lamp should always be tried first especially if is older than two years.
note - be aware about the switch at the door lamp.the door should be closed, otherwise tv will not work.if you remove the back cover, make sure to bypass the switch temporarely so you could work on the set.
HLP, HCN HL-S The Start-up Problem or/and 3 LEDs in the front blinking. Unplug the set, pull out the lamp module (not all the way - leave it on the track) and push it back in. Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.
