I have a frigidaire PHSC239DSB5 That I unplugged to clean. Once the cleaning was done, I plugged the unit back in and it does not cool. I have turned off and on the cooling system. I hear the fan running, but not getting cold. Has been more than 12 hours.

Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!

From what you have described you unplugged your Frigidaire refrigerator to clean it and now it is not cooling. You could have a possible short within the control panel or wiring harness. I would recommend performing a reset on your refrigerator and you can do that by disconnecting the power for at least ten minutes.
If that does not jump start your compressor you may want to make sure it is not in demo mode or the control is locked you should be able to notice any error codes on the panel. If you need additional help I would recommend contacting a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. -Matt

SOURCE: Frigidaire Side By Side Not Cooling

That sounds like the start relay is buzzing. Unplug and lets check the compressor to see how hot and if too hot to hold your hand on the top of compressor we need to leave it unplugged until we find out if the start relay, start capacitor, overload or if the condenser fan stops after running a short while. might be your compressor relay gone bad. if the condenser fan was running and no compressor that could be the case. Also could be a bad compressor. you could try installing a 3in1 start kit. cost about $30. if doesn't start with that then compressor is kaput.

Frigidaire oven Model FEF369CGSC self cleaning cycle shuts off after 10 minutes. Any idea waht part is controlling this timing?

Hello - I recommend to reprogramming the range. This can be done by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately 30 seconds and turn on the unit. Select the self clean option, if issue continues then the unit could of possibly trip the internal sensor of the unit and needs to be reset. This usually has to be done by a professional since the back panel needs to be taken off and the power reset inside. Otherwise the range could be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC which will need to be accurately diagnosis by a certified technician.

My frigidaire freezer upright has an error message door ajar

Sounds like the main control board to the unit needed to be reset and with the resetting it has caused a communication error with the door sensor. Contact a service tech to move forward with a repair.

How do I cancel the self cleaning feature on my oven. Engaged the cleaning feature with the oven door open.

Hello,Normally every body gets this almost right by cutting the power but there is a trick to this it can be done in 2 different ways depending on the unit
First unplug the unit and wait 15 -30 seconds then plug it back in and wait for 15 to 30 seconds then unplug it again and repeat this step 1 more time then upon the final plug in wait for 5 min and then unlock as you normally would.
now on the newer units the trick is to let it stand unplugged for 1 hour to allow the internal reset device to reset the appliance then plug it back in and then wait 5 min and you should hear it automatically unlock the appliance or you cn simply unlock it as you normally would
BUT REMEMBER DO NOT TOUCH IT FOR THE 5 MINUTES AFTER THE PLUG IN STAGE OR YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN OK

Thanks

How to clean my samsung aircondioner unit?

HI, Step 1 Your first step to getting your air conditioner to run better is to do proper maintenance. First turn the unit off.
  • Step 2 Next, you will need to remove the filter and see if it needs cleaning. Most time this alone can make it run better. Sometimes more is needed.
  • Step 3 If cleaning the filter worked, then you are done. If not the following steps can be followed. Unplug your unit.
  • Step 4 Remove it from the window.
  • Step 5 Using the tools needed, take the casing off of the unit.
  • Step 6 Set the casing aside. Look at the unit itself, is it covered in dust and build up? If so, taking a cloth gently clean off the debris.
  • Step 7 If you notice that there is more debris covering the unit all over, you can take a water hose and spray out the unit. Although this is not recommended, I have done it in an attempt to getting mine up and running.
  • Step 8 Once you have cleaned the unit itself. Take the glass cleaner and cloth, cleaning both inside and outside of the casing. Allow it to dry for a few moments then reassemble. Plug in your unit and check to make sure it is working before putting it back in the window, there isn't needed in putting a unit in that still doesn't cool.
  • jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); Tips & Warnings
    • If cleaning the unit doesn't help it to work better, than having it serviced by a tech is a must if you choose to keep and not replace.
    • Again I do not recommend the water hose. I done it myself risking tearing the unit up completely.
    thank you,
