I have pixma MP145. i want use my scanner corectly

Canon's US support website does not seem to be listing them ... fortunately, I was able to find a link on the Asia site.

1. Turn off your printer/scanner MP145
2. Reinstall Driver.

When you install your all in one printer scanner, they ask you to install the assistance software with it u can install that and use the scanner via that software. Or make sure you have installed your device perfectly than go to start programs and to Microsoft office than to Microsoft office tools and than to document imaging scanning option than follow on screen instructions. If you have installed the device it will recognize it automatically.

Save the drivers and before installing them do connect your Cannon MP 145 with the computer.

You have to download the latest driver from internet and install it.

Take it to a Canon Repair company, It has a 1 year warranty and needs to be replaced or call 1-800-ok canon.

E42 means scanner error. It's posible to be dirt scanner timing sensor or the whell. You can check videos on youtube to find how can fix this issue in detailed mode.
