Precisely the above, there are 9/5 C degrees for each F degree. Don't forget the 32 degrees F at which water freezes because it freezes at 0 degrees C.

If it is a number thermostat, first check your box temp., then change the dial 1 number and check temp. in about 2-3 hours and see which direction it goes. Usually thermostats with numbers causes the temp to change very slowly so take your time and you can figure it out.

Engine cooling fans dont come on until temp. gauge is almost red-lined. Already changed fan controled temp. sensor.

Perhaps your gauge is faulty. Is your coolant filled up? You may also have a vapour lock causing the problem. Also you may have to change your thermostat. It may be sticking. Good luck!

Check that you have no air locks or blockages .If you have a fan assisted engine .it should cut in at a certain temp

I would start by changeing the coolant temp. sensor for the emisions.This sensor controls the amount of fuel for any given temp.

Change the engine temp sensor but be sure you change the right one as some will also have a coolant temp sensor dont get them confused.
