my smeg oven has always never worked properly, the temperature is faulty etc i now want to remove this oven and have bought a new electrical oven but cannot seem to get the smeg oven out. How do i remove this smeg oven?
check first that you have power to the appliance - open the cover over the connection box and check with a multimeter. also carefully check that the connection box is not burnt out. this is likely not a fault with the cooker but your power input

the fan element would have blown. it is not uncommon for an element to trip an rcd when it blows. you are on the right track, if you replace the element all your problems should go away
