Call forwarding keeps turning itself on. None of the suggested remedies work to stop it. *73 doesn't work. *720 doesn't work. #21# doesn't work. I only have 1 number and have never forwarded a call.

When my phone does this--on its own--the microphone in my earbuds/mic combo stop working. I can hear other people, but they can't hear me. When I unplug the headphones, the phone works fine. When I get it to stop "call forwarding" (???) the microphone starts working again. Please help!

Why does my mitel 5330e ring once then transfer to my cell phone

There is a feature called "Call Forwarding"
On most phones these instructions work.

Turning on Call Forwarding
  1. Dial *72 (or 1172 on rotary phones).
  2. Listen for three beeps followed by dial tone.
  3. Dial the phone number to which your calls are to be forwarded.
  4. If there's an answer at the number you are forwarding to: Make sure you keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to activate the service.
Turning off Call Forwarding
1. Dial *73 (or 1173 on rotary phones).

I have a KX-T7130 phone system with intercom. for the last 4 weeks, every phone will ring once and then the call gets hung up before I can answer it. I can use every phone to call out, but just can't...

Most likely NOT your phone system (anonymous)

Neither is it likely accidental...

What it sounds like you are getting is a "ring splash"

It is a token ring to let you know a call was forwarded...

My best suggestion would be to call YOUR OWN
number and find out who has been getting your call...

Or at least what kind of TREATMENT your callers have been getting...

Since this is a GLOBAL SITE... I would suggest you consult
your service PROVIDER.. for the appropriate enable & cancel CALL FORWARDING.

BELL-SYSTEM Codes to invoke and cancel

Codes: *72 and *73: respectively

Forward... *72 = ("star, seven, two")

*72 (wait a second dial tone) dial tone + (forward number)...
If the call is answered the FORWARD is complete...
(confirmation)

Else
Repeat the SAME dialing PROCESS
(OK: indicated by two stutter dial tones followed by dial tone).
((confirmation)).

Cancel FORWARD...
*73: To CANCEL forwarding... *73 = ("star, seven, three")

(again OK... Success is indicated by two stutter dial tones followed by dial tone (yet another confirmation))...

Hope this helps...

Disable call-forwarding on avtech 5.8

Since call forwarding is a service of your telephone company, you'll have to go through their procedure to cancel forwarding. Try dialing *73. If that doesn't do it, then contact your telephone company for their procedure.

Cancel call forwarding

The exact procedure depends on your telephone company, since you set up call forwarding with them. If that procedure involved dialing *72, try dialing *73. If that doesn't do it, contact your telephone company for the exact procedure.

Cancel call forwarding

Call Forward Variable is done at your phone by dialing a code like *72 then the phone number you want to forward your calls to. To turn it off you dial another code like *73 or *70. These are popular codes, try the *73 and if it does not work you will have to contact your phone company and ask for the code.

If you have Call Forward Busy/No Answer then you will have to contact your phone company to stop the call forward and setup voice mail or another option.

Cell phone keeps turning off although is fully charged.

Sir, the problem may be in firmware. I suggest that you reformat it first. But after reformatting it and the problem is still there, the problem must be the hardware itself. To remedy that, you must replace each and every parts that you think has the problem like for instance the connector in the phone where you plug in the charger.
