I just bought the Utilitech pro #022004 (three head LED) floodlight at Lowes. I installed it. When the motion sensor detects motion, the lights flash really fast about five times then stops. Then about three seconds later it does it again. And it continously does it until the 1, 3, or 10 min timer runs out. I just want them to come on and stay on.

Product is wired wrong.

Motion detector requires neutral wire
Connect red and white wires together can result in flicker instead of lights ON

SOURCE: Outdoor 3-Outlet Photocell Timer

Photocell is 'seeing' lights and thinks it's dawn so it turns off.
When lights are off, timer thinks it's night and clicks back on.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#troubleshoot

1) Turn photoeye away from lights.
2) Buy new timer since photoeye is first thing to malfunction on cheap Christmas timers.
3) Buy new timer at Lowes, and return defect in new package

Can the PnP brand 30w motion sensor led floodlight be set to come on permanently

The specific capabilities and settings of the PnP brand 30W motion sensor LED floodlight may vary depending on the model and design. However, in general, motion sensor LED floodlights are typically designed to operate based on detected motion and have a preset duration for illumination after motion is detected.
If you would like the PnP 30W motion sensor LED floodlight to remain on permanently, overriding the motion sensor function, you can try the following steps:
1. Locate the settings: Check if the floodlight has any accessible settings or switches that allow you to adjust its operation. This could be located on the fixture itself or on a separate control module if provided.
2. Disable or bypass the motion sensor: Look for an option to disable or bypass the motion sensor function. This might involve flipping a switch, pressing a button sequence, or adjusting a specific setting. Consult the product manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for guidance on how to accomplish this for your specific model.
3. Connect the floodlight to a separate power source: If disabling the motion sensor function is not possible or practical, you can consider connecting the floodlight to a separate power source that provides constant power. This could involve bypassing the original wiring or using a separate switch or power outlet that remains on continuously.
It's important to note that overriding the motion sensor function may affect the energy efficiency and intended purpose of the floodlight. Motion sensor lights are typically designed to conserve energy by only activating when motion is detected, providing illumination when needed. Keeping the light on permanently may result in increased energy consumption and reduced bulb lifespan.
Always refer to the product manual or consult the manufacturer's instructions for the specific model of the PnP 30W motion sensor LED floodlight to ensure you understand its features and limitations.

I HAVE A UTILITECH PRO 180 #0205881 AND IT BLINKS WHEN ITS ON

Usually when a motion sensor light blinks LED or otherwise it means that the motion sensor is shot. The light itself is most likely good and for whatever reason you got a bad sensor upon purchase.

My utilitech pro led flood light is now constantly flashing. I turned off the breaker for 10 minutes and it still flashes. There is no reset button only a test switch. Any ideas?

I know this is an old post but in case it helps someone else:

I had the same problem. On the sensor head (the bottom part of the light), you will see a plastic dome that can swivel about 360 degrees. Just behind that is a tiny dot maybe 1/8 inch in diameter. If you cover that dot with several layers of white tape the flashing stops and the light stays on. This defeats the dawn to dusk functionality because the light will always think its nightime, but I can always turn it off using the switch in the morning. The light is extremely bright when it is on, but many people struggle with the sensors never working right. If I hadnt already siliconed the light to my siding block, I would try to bypass the sensor altogether. For now the tape at least stops the flashing and I have light.
