Find the model number of your car safe on the lower right corner of the safe. Write down the model number.
Look for a small plastic panel on the front of your safe. Push the panel to the side to reveal a key code.
Call Harbor Freight Technical Support at the telephone number listed on their website. Give Harbor Freight the key code, safe model, your name and your mailing address. Request a duplicate key. Pay the charge for the key by credit card. Harbor Freight will mail you a replacement key.

The Stramm safe we have is a small one that we use to store keys for our drivers. To change the combination, open the safe with the current combination. Sorry, can't help you if you don't know that. Inside the door is a plastic panel covering the batteries. Pinch the plastic catch at the top and open the panel. There is a small red button which you can press to change the combination. When you press it, you will hear a double beep. Enter your desired new combination. The trick is that the last digit must be either an "A" or a "B" which signals the end of your combination. Try reseating the RAM modules to ensure proper connection.
If it still does not boot up, the RAM may be faulty. Remove the RAM and take it to your computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you. If faulty the RAM needs to be replaced.
