First thing to do here is to unplug the printer from the computer and restart the computer , then once the computer is already back that's the time you connect the printer back and lets see if the printer will be detected by the computer, if still not and printer is still showing offline, better go to control panel and gp to printers and faxes and click on add and follow the wizard to install a ewn printer that should correct the problem.....

Printer spooler service not running

The spooler is not on your printer it is in the Windows folder on your computer and is used to hold documents whilst preparing to print.
Normally this service is set to start automatically and there are a number of reasons why it may of stopped but try this:
Right click on "Computer" in your Menu and then left click on "Manage".
In the page that appears click "Services and applications" and Click "Services"
Navigate down to "Print Spooler" and double click on that line.
A box should appear showing properties of the Spooler.
It should show
"Startup Type = Automatic"
"Service Status = Running"
If neither of these are true then change the Startup type to Automatic
and click on the "Start Button"
The service will then either start or tell you why it cannot start.

Keep getting printer offline from Dell 1135n printer

1, There are several reasons that cause your Dell 1135n printer to be in offline mode. It might happen if the software is being updated on your computer, a connection issue might be present between your printer and computer.
2, A firewall or software is causing a communication problem. To resolve this error, open the Control Panel and locate the Device Manager Settings on your computer. Navigate to the USB's controller menu and select the plus symbol to open the list. Right-click on the USB Root Hub and choose Properties from the tool box.
3, Click the Power Management tab and uncheck it next to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option. Restart your PC. If the issue did not resolve, update the printer firmware.

Printer is shown as offline in windows but is on and I can print from mac

Hi

Please go to Control Panel(windows)->open printers->go to default printer-> right click on it and select Online option. now restart your printer and check.

If this doesn't make it online then restart your printer spooler. To start it go to Start Menu -> Run-> Type 'services.msc' (without the single quotes). When the list is presented, click on the list of items, type the letter p to jump to the services starting with P. "Print Spooler" should be one of them. Double click it and set the startup type to "Automatic" and make sure it's started.

Printer Offline

If your problem still persists then If the printer and the printserver is on and connected to the printserver and the router respectively. Then try right clicking on the printer icon in the printers and faxes window to set it online. Try Printing. If it did not work, then right click on the printer icon again > Properties > Ports > set the proper network port. Apply the settings and try Printing.
