What do I do if my Hitachi Magic Wand appears to be burnt out?

The product now vibrates at a much lower level. This happened suddenly and has not changed. I bought it in September with a year warranty but is there anything i can do to fix it?

The drive spring gets twisted when bearing in the vibrating head seizes due to moisture. Spray WD40 on the seized bearing and reinforce the spring drive with a pickup stick or chopstick down the center.

Any rod that fits snugly inside the drive spring will do.

SOURCE: Dark Picture

The procedure for correcting dark picture is EXTREMELY dangerous.. If you're not sure about what you're doing call a qualified technician or you could seriously hurt yourself or get killed!

Picture Dark, abnormal, Changing Color Temperature

  • Clean the Spark Gaps on each CRT PWB. Remove the Cap, clean the contacts with thin fine sand paper, blow out, reseal.
  • Remove the CRT Sockets, clean the pins on the CRT. Push the CRT socket on and off several times.
Make really sure before you sttart this process that the Tv has been unplugged for several hours and that you discharge the crt as you remove the anode. There is some extremely high voltage present for hours after the Tv has been off...
Or get a reputable shop to come out and do the procedure for you - - might just save picking yourself up of the opposite wall.

SOURCE: Sounds like its working, but nothing happens

I had the same problem with mine, it's due to the fact that the smaller spring has become un-lodged from the ******** itself.

You will need:
1. Roll of electrical tape.
2. Utility Knife
3. A small slot head screw driver OR a pair of needle nose pliers.

The solution is to unscrew the silver ring so that is can be moved up and down. Now, you need to use a utility knife and cut the blue rubber off of the spring. Once you have the blue rubber but off you can see a large spring with another smaller spring inside. Push the head of the ******** till the larger spring's coils are an 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch apart. Next take either the small slot head screw driver or a pair of needle nose and jam the smaller spring back into the hole in the center of the white plastic piece inside of the larger ring. Next plug it in to make sure the vibration is working, reattach the silver piece and tape the larger spring with electric tape.

My magic wand stopped buzzing but it brings light

If your magic wand is not vibrating anymore, there might be a few potential reasons for this:
  1. Battery: The battery may be dead or running low. Try charging or replacing the battery to see if this solves the issue.
  2. Motor: The motor in the wand may be worn out or damaged, preventing it from vibrating. This can happen over time with frequent use.
  3. Wiring: There may be an issue with the wiring inside the wand that is preventing it from vibrating.
As for the light still working, it is possible that the light and vibration functions of the wand are controlled by different components.
If you are unable to determine the cause of the issue, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for assistance.

It seems to have power going thru it..but no vibration...help

The small sping has come out of the shaft from the motor. If you open the unit you will see that the motor has a little impeller and a shaft with a slot in it. The little spring inside of the massager head is suppose to ride inside of that motor shaft with the little tab on the spring lining up in the slot. It's really flimsy and after I fixed mine it fell out again after 5 minutes of use. It needed a stiffer spring or a different way of engaging the motor shaft. I'm still working on this...

How do you delete pictures and copies from the VuPoint Magic Wand?

Your VuPoint Magic Wand scanner should have come with a USB cable. Use the cable to connect the scanner to your PC, and the memory card in the scanner appears as a removable drive in Windows Explorer. Deleting files from the card is just like deleting files in any Windows folder -- just highlight them and press the Delete key.

Can the Magic Wand Rechargeable Massager be charged from a 220 volt power?

If your wand is N American then "don't do it" 220 through a 110/120 will fry all the magic out of it. You could get a step down transformer 220 to 110. Plug that into the 220 socket and plug your magic wand charger into that.

The cost would not be worth it though ... buy some more magic that is 220. be happy ... not sorry :-)
