It's not named after that other car, is it? It's a hotpoint ultima super silent. Most likely suspect is the drive belt for the tub. Remove back cover and find the tech sheet stuffed in the unit for lots of secrets, shortcuts, and commonly replaced parts with the correct mfr part numbers. Check to see if the belt has come loose and why.

The flashing lights means that an error had been detected.
The machine must be unplugged from main to check the drain hose and the drain pump.
The most common is that the drain pump is clogged with debris and must be unlocked.

Check pump filter located at rear of washer, remove rear cover, locate and remove large black hose, remove and clean filter.
