Power board signal

Hi Jim, I hope you have done the right in put "SOURCE" setting. Like AV, PC, HDMI etc. The source setting must match the signal you are feeding to your TV. If not the TV will show no signal. I hope there should be nothing wrong with your TV. Good Luck.

Sharp tv won't display cable picture (it only shows fuzz) but the netflix and DVD both work. The cable says no input service available. I am able to change the channel on the cable box, but on the tv

Your cable box might not be sending signal out to the tv. Would have to call service provider to have them test your box. Or, you can try unplugging your cable box, and then plugging it back in. Make sure all connections are secure and settings on your tv are accurate. 11_13_2013_3_31_52_pm.png

How to scan channels

The TV user guide should provide the procedures of acquiring auto scan. For example, your TV may be acquiring functionality from satellites dishs or cable receiver devices. Performing an auto scan achievable with the remote control device with adjustment to settings on the channel buttons would produce a signal only with available transmitter stations. Performing a channel auto scan would display no signals without available receiver devices often acquired with susbscription from a provder either cable TV, sattelite or disk network, show on demand for example. However, performing an auto scan on a new Tv should simply display a count list of possible available channels on which signals could be display when any is provided. Good luck

Hi- I bought a used 37LC model (less than 1 yr old) without a manual. I cannot get any over the air local stations to come up under the TV mode. Does this model have a normal tuner ? The display shows...

if the display says cable, it won't get over the air signal. switch the source to antenna, hook up an antenna and go through auto program sequence.

I bought an insignia 26" 1080p yesterday and the display shows that the tv is currently showing the picture at 720p. How can i adjust this so that it is 1080

Generally speaking, your TV will display the signal it receives. DVD player output, for example, is 480p, but an upconvert DVD player can output the signal at 720p or 1080p. You should adjust your components (e.g. cable/satellite box, DVD/Blu-ray players, etc.) to the desired compatible output.

Display box keeps popping on and off on screen

Your display box continues to pop up because of the way your optimum box is connected to the back of your television. If you are connected with a coaxial cable from the box to the back of the tv, you will get that display box. The reason you are getting it because of the weak signal coming from your coaxial cable(which is the worst cable to use when connecting ANYTHING to ANY tv, especially a lcd tv). That cable is sending a fluctuating signal and your television is adjusting to that(hence the reason the display box comes up). Use composite cables(typical red, white, and yellow cables) to connect your box to your television and I guarantee your problem will be solved. Make sure you unplug that coaxial connection from your box to the television.
