How do i access a battery in vivitar pv series 8x22 binoculars

They are Steiner authorised. Binoculars.com used to list many Steiner parts as well.

It is not clear what you have. If you have binoculars there is no battery. If you have a monocular night visison by Vivitar look on the side for a small round plug with a slot in it. It takes a 3v round flat battery.
