How do I fix a gamecube controller's control stick when it is loose or broken?
First party Nintendo brand Gamecube controller. Any generation from black/purple originals to newer release white Japanese import or black Smash Bros. brand.
Re: How do I fix a gamecube controller's control stick...
You can either replace the joystick controller module if you are handy with soldering, or you can send/take it to a repair shop and they will do it. Those are the only two ways to fixing a loose gamecube controller.

me too. i get this problem . i have a wii dance pad that has a gamecube connector , and i guess the DDR doesn't detect it as a dance pad , but as a gamecube controller . so think , you can't hold the nunchuck and the gamecube controller at the same time . so i guess we need a wireless dance pad for the nunchuck to work as well .
The wii comes equipped with a Backwards compatibility with the old gamecube. The mat that it comes with is essentially a Gamecube remote. The slot for those are located at the top of your wii system. Just gotta unhinge the top part you should see it. It has the capacity to hold 4 gamecube remotes
Well that depends if your trying to play gamecube games on the gamecube or the wii?, i assume your doing it on the wii because anyone would know that a wii control wouldn't work on a gamecube, not impossible, just very hard
wii remotes do work with the nintendo wii on wii games and on gamecube games, but it is better if you use a gamecube controller and plug it into the to holes under the flap, pictured below, hopefully.
logic 3 controllers are not good, return the logic 3 controller to the store and buy a NINTENDO wavebird instead, i bought mine used and it is perfectly fine. you might have the controller plugged into port (....[4]) instead of port ( . [1]) so try that or buy a wavebird instead ( if you ask me , buy the wavebird). I think my sister's friend's brother had the same problem. But he gave up on it. Probably faulty. Third party gamecube and wii accessories (excluding nyko) are bad or do not last very long.
