Sounds like a poor connection. If it's still under warranty take it back! I got a free replacement printer after the paper feed disintegrated.

Adding my printer back on my computer without the disk

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

Doesn't print the whole page

The printer is switched on at the plug and all connected but the printer wont turn on when clicking the on/off button on the actual printer. what can i do?

Is there a power light on the power brick? if not make sure the power brick is plugged in all the way. Try plugging a lamp or a light in the socket and make sure the not the outlet.
Still having problems try a different outlet.
If there is power going to the printer make sure the connection between the power and the printer is firmly in.

My computer and HP C6180 shut down overnight. Nothing else in the house was affected. My computer turned on normally, but I cannot get the printer to power up. I've unplugged it several times. Both are...

I am using an HP printer but a different model. Disconnect your printer connection to your PC first. You can then check "power brick" light if it on (normally green in color). The power brick is the small box between the wire connecting your printer on one end and the power surge. Check first if there is a light. If its off, you may want to unplug the connection on the printer and check if it will turn green with the wire connected to the wall. If it does turn green, it is a problem with your printer. If it doesnt, it may be a problem with your wire. If your printer wire does not come with this power brick, you can plug the printer directly to the wall bypassing the power surge and see if it will work. If that does not work, try to reseat your wirings and try again. If it still does not work, you need to contact your printer manufacturer for repair/replacement. Don't try opening your printer, it may void your warranty.

I have a 2002 dodge grand caravan sport and the ac blower will sometimes quit. I jiggle the fan plug and it kicks back on. Could this possibly be a fan going bad, or just simply the connection is no longer...

I would change the connector. Jiggling the plug shouldn't make a difference if the motor was going bad unless the bad connection was inside the motor. Hope this helps.

No power. Only 1 blue light on for the adapter when plugged in

If you are getting a light on the adapter itself but not on the computer you might have a problem in the cord going from the transformer (black brick that stands in between outlet and laptop plugs) to your computer. Try jiggling the cord around a little and see if you get a light on if not you may want to try a volt meter to see if you are getting voltage at the end.

The language on the Lexmark printer X9575 is not in English, how do I reset the printer itself to get back to English?

Hi,
try taking out the power brick off the printer. the power brick is where the power cord plugs in behind the printer - the black box. Then, hold down the cancel and start buttons at the same time (w/o the power brick in the printer yet). Plug in the power brick while still holding the 2 buttons firmly. Printer should turn on automatically. Wait for the language selection prompt. Hope this helps.

Xbox wont turn on i just finished downloading halo wars and a few miniutes later it shut off

hey a :-)

is ur power brick 'green/orange/red light on ??
if it is firstly make sure its fully pushed into ur 360 ! (i know.....im sure u tried this already)
It could be RED' ?? but it dosnt really matter.....its still the same fix !
assuming you have some sort of power to the power brick (any colour)
un plug it (from the mains).......
im gonna guess you have been using some sort of USB connection (either a controller charger, wired controller or usb stick)(music ect ect)....either to the 2 front usb slots or the 1 at the back.......??
if this is the case un-plug EVERYTHING from all used usb slots........
now try powering up the 360 .......??
If it still dosnt power up (assuming you have some light on the power brick??) revert to plan 'B'.....
un-plug the power brick from the mains again.....& unplug 'ALL' connected leads from the 360 so you just have the 360 with nothing plugged in ! if you have a torch ect have a look inside all usb slots you have used (for charging ur controller ect even the back one if u have used it ??)
inside all used usb slots are little 'prongs' ...if in the process of plugging in & out chargers/wired controllers ect you accidently bend one of these prongs & it touches the sides of the casing surrounding the usb slot it shorts the board out & results in 'No power up' of the xbox ! its a simple problem to fix yet difficult to spot unless ur told about it !
usually un-plugging all usb used slots rectifys the problem but failing that check inside them for bent prongs !
I find a pair of tweezers or a tiny screwdriver does the job best :-)
plug power lead back in & try again
let me know how u get on ??

hope this helps ??

Wont turn on!

Unless the power cord is loose, it sounds like the unit is defective. There are two places to check the power cord. The 'brick' has to be firmly inserted into the back of the printer and the cord has to be properly fitting into the brick. If all is well there, it sounds like something more drastic is wrong.
